Katowice Internationals World Cup 2025
Katowice Internationals World Cup, the biggest football event of the year in Katowice, has come back again this year for the VI Edition! The World Cup is our main project that we organize since May 2018. The event aims to promote social inclusion and diversity through sport and multicultural interaction in Silesia and Poland.
The World Cup took place on 28th and 29th of July 2025 in the Sports Stadium next to Asnyka Street. This year, the tournament has been composed by 28 different national teams, many supporters, and over 50 volunteers from Europe, South America, Africa and Asia. Overall the event featured around 1000 people in total!
The first day started with the Parade of the national teams. It was the opportunity for the teams to present themselves to their supporters, and warm-up the atmosphere before the matches.
Next, our Sponsors and Patrons, alongside of our Foundation’s President- Marco, had an opportunity to welcome the community and officially start the game offs!
In this moment, the players gathered on the field as they listened to the inspiring words and motivational messages. The atmosphere brimmed with excitement and determination, setting the tone for an extraordinary event.
In the final, Poland and Colombia faced off in a fierce battle to become champions and lift the cup. At the end of the day, Colombia emerged victorious, and they were crowned the champions of the Katowice International World Cup 2025 securing their spot in the Integration Cup 2025 in Roma. Congrats to Colombia team!
